Presentation of the Book “Presidents of the Republic of Italy”

A promotion of the book “Presidents of the Republic of Italy” by Gianluca Passarelli, professor at La Sapienza University in Rome, was held in the ceremonial hall of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Montenegro. The book, which analyzes the role of the President of the Republic of Italy as a key element of political stability and cohesion, attracted great interest from both experts and the general public. During the promotion, it was emphasized that lessons from the Italian political system can serve Western Balkan countries in addressing challenges related to institutional weaknesses and political polarization.

Speakers at the event included the author of the book, Professor Gianluca Passarelli from La Sapienza University in Rome; the President of the Board of Directors of CeMI and professor at the Faculty of Political Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zlatko Vujović; as well as professors from the Faculty of Political Science, Prof. Dr. Srđan Darmanović and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Vuković. On behalf of the Faculty, the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Grbović, also addressed the audience, while a special contribution to the discussion was made by the Ambassador of Italy to Montenegro, Andreina Marsella.

The Montenegrin edition of the book was published by the Montenegrin Political Science Association (MoPSA) and the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI).
